As the start of 2017, I gave myself a ‘theme’ for the year and the word was Intentional. I was adamant to stay intentional in all that I do and to give it my best regardless of the outcome. To a large extent, it helped me stay guided and focused. I think I needed the reminder the most when I got distracted or when I get so tired I just wants to lie down rather than be present for the hubs and the little one.
With just 4 days away from Christmas, it has been fairly busy in our household. The Christmas tree with new fairy lights are up, presents bought and wrapped (yippie!) and Christmas menu all set! However, I’m still trying to get some Christmas sewing done, tasks at the office cleared before the year ends and tons of little things here and there.
Last month we celebrated Chinese New Year here in Singapore. It’s an occasion where we take time to visit relatives and gather with our love ones celebrating the cross over to a new year. It is also in tradition that married couples give out red packets to younger relatives or parents and grandparents as a form of blessing. I’m sure there is a lot of great articles out there on what Chinese New Year and its traditions really mean.
We have accumulated so many photos of Junior since his arrival into our arms 14 months ago, all thanks to new age technology with gadgets like the camera! While we tries to be very diligent in housekeeping all these photos on the computer, we didn’t go very far with labelling each folder.
2015 is almost over and Adesays will turn 3 years soon! As compared to many, 3 years is hardly a long time, but this is definitely a milestone for me especially for someone who has a fleeting attention span.
