Happy Monday! This will be the first of many post regarding Seoul as I’ll be putting up some posts regarding places to go and things to look out for especially when travelling with a toddler. I started the Around the World fabric series for a while now to document all these fabric places I’ve been to whenever I travel. Part of the fun is researching these places and eventually making it there and immersing myself in what the place has to offer and its culture.
It is now a norm and a habit of mine to scour and visit fabric shops in my travels. I’ve really grew to enjoy these trips to fabric places as every experience is different and there are just so much to see.
I have some really exciting news to share! While I can’t share ALL of them at one go which I’m really tempted to, I think it’s suffice to say I can share them progressively. Yes, I’m secretive and annoying like that. 🙂
Ever since I started sewing more, my fabric stash has grown steadily and substantially. I can imagine this being the norm for all sewist. And sometimes you buy these fabric and soon they get lost in the sea out there and finally when you fish them up, you are either really happy or slightly puzzled on your choice of fabric.
When planning for our first family vacation (*squeals*), I spent many days and nights brainstorming and asking around for a suitable destination for my 1 year old. Most friends were rooting for Australia (it being child friendly and all that), but I was worried about food and the duration of the plane ride (7 hours seems like eternity). I even googled aplenty with searches like “holiday destinations with toddler”.
Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post, all thoughts and comments are my own. And this is going to be a loooongg post.
The weather in Singapore has been rather nasty the last couple of weeks. It has been really hot and humid with downpour on certain days. Is this how it’s supposed to be like transiting from summer to autumn? More people are definitely falling sick especially when the virus goes around in the office. I’ve developed a cough too which I’m hoping will go away soon. With junior on the way, I’m going natural without any medication (ok, I cheated, I had some mild Chinese herbs).
I am so over the heat and humidity already.
I was so excited when the mister agreed to London as part of our honeymoon destination. It’s one of my favourite cities in the whole world!
I’ve always had a soft spot for polka dots, big ones, medium ones and even tiny ones. It is like second nature to pick up anything with polka dots on them as soon as I enter a shop. This obsession could well be attributed to the years spent in Secondary School in a green polka dotted uniform.
